Saxton's World Tour, "09
Does this little guy look excited or what? This was last Wednesday, when he was getting ready to go for a whole week to Grandma Sue's, Grandma Gay's, and Uncle Matt's! He has had such a fun time being the one and only at Grandma's. I didn't think a week would be that hard for me, but I have surely missed him! Has he missed us? Well, I won't get into that because it gives me a complex... sort of. Every time I call to talk to him, he has been way too busy playing checkers, running errands, watching cartoons, basically getting spoiled in various and sundry ways... to talk very long to me. However, I highly recommend this kind of thing, if possible to do, because he is making memories with Grandma that are harder to make when all the cousins are around. And, I have had a little more one on one with the other children too!
And now I'm ready for him to come home tonight. I miss my "little light".
Love you, son.

Happy Chinese New Year!
Ellie made Egg Rolls tonight. She did such a good job!
Later, she gave a great FHE lesson on how Heavenly Father answers your prayers. She drew illustrations of scripture stories and had siblings hold the pictures while she read the verses. The most hilarious one (though we didn't laugh out loud at the time, of course) was a picture of Nephi shocking his brothers "because they wouldn't help him build the boat". We are blessed to have such a sweet girl.
For our activity, we played Sardines! You'd be surprised to find that there ARE
places to hide in 600 square feet!
Brinley's Banana Pops:
3 Bananas and two Hershey Bars
"Mix the, wait no... Put the hershey bars in a glass bowl, and put it in the oven. Wait! Not the oven. The Microwave! And then you get your bananas and split all three of them in to two. After you split them in two, you get the Hershey bars out of the microwave. And you put the bananas in the bowl, I mean! not the bananas in the bowl. You get the spoon and put the melted Hershey bar on the bananas. And then you put them in the freezer for two and a half hours. I mean one and a half hours! It's awesome when you eat it!"
We're Moving!
We have lived 15 months here in Montana, and have decided that it is time to get closer to our families again. We have purchased a business in Southern Idaho, and are very busy getting ready to go. We have felt the hand of the Lord guiding us through this whole thing. We are very grateful for the experience we have gained here, and also for the many wonderful people who have touched our lives!

Nathan
Saxton's happiness
Ellie's Thoughts
"In 2008, I had a lot of fun. I went to California with my cousins that are from Alaska that I haven't seen for at least a year.
I had a lot of fun at my baptism. I felt the Holy Ghost, and I loved wearing the beautiful dress my mom made.
I like my school, and I'm going to be really sad when we move. But there are going to be some good things. For instance, there are more girls than boys in my new class, and I'll be closer to family, and we'll get to go to the pool a lot, and it's hot in the summer. That's the good things about moving.
But, one of the bad things is I'll be moving away from some good friends. And that's what I think about moving.
And that's all I have to say for today."
Brinley's Thoughts
"It was fun when it was Christmas time. We had a lot of fun with our cousins at Disneyland, Sea World, and Lego Land. They were all fun places. It was the best thing I ever did in my whole entire life in 2008.
When I went to miss Nadine's dance class, I could do both of the splits, and I can still do them in gymnastics. I have a lot of friends in school. They are the best ones ever! Yesterday, I played at Kylie's birthday party. 2009 January 24th. I was playing dress ups, and I slipped with my socks on and I hit my chin.
My teacher's name is Miss Z. She has another name, and it's MS. Zimmerli. Her son's name is Jax, and he's a stinker. Ms. Z says the classroom is a mess all the time.
When I move, I am going to meet new friends at school, and I'll be shy. But I'll be brave, too."
