These are some things I really need to keep in mind.
Cory's been away to Canada promoting our campground this week. I'm so glad to have him back. I really really really admire single mothers. Thank you, mom, for putting up with us!

The post below was a tease.

I must write a disclaimer. I really didn't enter a race. I was just kidding. Anyone who has seen me in the last few months would know that could never be me! And I'm really not sewing a teepee this week. I'm just trying to keep my head above water! BUT== blogging really does make me want to be better!

Blogging makes me better

I just want to say that when I read other people's blogs, it makes me want to be better! I see what others are doing with their lives, kids, and homes, and I think, "I want to be like them!" So, last week, I entered a triathlon, (see picture), and this week I think I'll sew a teepee. Thank you, blog land, for inspiring me.

Don't feel you have to leave a comment on this blog because my mom told you I felt friendless because I don't get many comments, but if you do decide to leave a comment, here are some ideas:

"you are so funny! you are the coolest girl in the world! I'm so glad you're my friend!"
Another option: "When I wake up in the morning, the first thing I want to do is go look at your blog."
Or you could come up with something of your own.
Now I'm going to go and comment on yours. So my big brother doesn't call me a hypocrite.

And it will surprise you what the Lord has done...

I was reading President Eyring's talk tonight from last conference. He talked about how we should remember daily what the Lord has done for us. So, I just wanted to remember today that....

I have a little baby Nathan who keeps me on task. He is such a joy to raise because he loves to "Go and Do!". He helps me take out the garbage, sweep the floor, wash the windows, etc. When he sees that I'm working on something, he wants to "hep! Hep!" (sometimes that means he sits with me at the computer and tries to type with me, which causes me to get off the computer, but that's okay!)

Anyway, today, I am grateful the Lord sent me Nathan Isaiah.

He helps me clean up after the other three.
(who, by the way, were asking today when I was going to have another baby. I've gained some weight, and Brinley keeps thinking it is happening soon.... but it's not.... for quite a while. I'm amazed at women like my great grandma Satterthwaite who had 13 kids... I'm sure extracurricular activities weren't even invented yet then, and she only had to keep two outfits clean for each child... but still, how did she do it?)
