Here's our girl in her second white dress! The dress is from Grandma Unsworth, the sweater was made by Grandma Sue. She was really radiant that day. I was so very happy and felt the spirit so strong. We had lots of wonderful family there supporting her, and we felt their love!
After she was baptized, she and I went in to the dressing room. She was smiling so big. She said, "I feel so special!". She could really feel the love of her friends and family and the Lord.
Her daddy gave her a beautiful blessing and confirmed her a member of the Church. He told her that with this new gift of the Holy Ghost she was to "Shine! Shine for the world!" And that she does.
I will remember this day always-- days like this are the stuff of which life is made.
I'm so grateful for our faith!
