Christmas Bins Threw up at my House...

No, but really....yesterday my children brought up every Christmas bin I own and proceeded to pull all of the contents out of them.  I was grateful and ungrateful at the same time.  They put their "kid tree" up, which has all of the cute ornaments they have made over the years...
But this gave me incentive to decorate the tree we cut down last Saturday:
This is now my "zen" room, with pictures of the Savior and nativities all around.  I love sitting in there.

Levi found baby Jesus in one of the bins!
Working on a project in the mess-- an activity from The Friend magazine...

So tonight for FHE...
Announcements were that the girls are getting for their Christmas dance performance and the play they will be in...and Saxton reminded us that his birthday is coming up very soon!
Saxton chose Popcorn Popping for the silly song, which is funny because it is snowing outside and that is generally a springtime song, but anyhoo... then we sang Away in a Manger, which felt nice to sing.
Brinley encouraged us to continue to be thankful in her lesson.
Nathan had us play the "dead fish game" see below:

You cross your hands and take turns tapping around the circle.  If you tap twice, the direction changes.  If you flinch when it is not your turn, that hand is out.  If you pause too long, that hand is out.
Then we played VROOM ERCH!

And ate brownies with mint chocolate chip ice cream and real whipped cream!  Via Ellie.
